Privacy Policy

CycleCare is a free Telegram assistant run by ForestTech Solutions ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email contact@foresttechsolutions.net.

What we collect

• Telegram chat ID: so the bot can message you.
• Email address (optional): to send you a welcome email, one follow-up reminder and occasional product updates.
• Your partner's first name (optional): to personalise messages.
• Cycle information: the date her last period started, her typical cycle length, and whether pregnancy mode is on. This is health information, so we treat it with extra care.
• Settings: your timezone and preferred message time.
• Message history: which tips we've sent you, so we don't repeat them.
• Referral codes: if you share CycleCare or joined through someone's link.

We don't collect your partner's contact details, and we never contact her.

Your partner's information

CycleCare stores information about someone other than you. Please only use it with your partner's knowledge and agreement, and only share what she's comfortable with.

How we use it

• To work out the current cycle phase and send your daily briefing and reminders.
• To email you about CycleCare, if you gave us your email.
• To keep the service running, fix problems and prevent abuse.

We rely on your consent, which you give by setting up the bot and can withdraw at any time (see below). We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers listed below.

Who we share it with

• Telegram: messages between you and the bot pass through Telegram, under Telegram's privacy policy.
• Resend: sends our emails.
• Our hosting and database provider: stores the data listed above on our behalf.

These providers only process data to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you use CycleCare. Pausing with /stop keeps your settings so you can /resume later. If you delete your account, we erase your data immediately. If you only joined the waitlist and never set up the bot, we keep your email until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

• Stop messages: send /stop to the bot.
• Delete everything: send /delete to the bot. This permanently erases your settings, cycle data, message history and email address.
• Access, correct or export your data, or object to how we use it: email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
• Complain: you can contact your local data protection authority.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the people who run CycleCare. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't share more than CycleCare needs.

Not medical advice

CycleCare gives estimates only. It is not a medical device and must not be used as contraception or to diagnose any condition.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For significant changes, we'll let you know through the bot.
